Two Bears

A pair of conflicting neighbors in a rural Japanese island community are visited by two Asiatic bears that mirror their feeder’s, each neighbor’s, attitudes. The interactions between the bears become symbolic of the interactions between the neighbors and become integral in their story. A woman from the big city moved to the community a few years ago  due to work and finds herself becoming talk of the town as a stern corporate careerist, the snazzy sneaker reclusive or the dreaded woman at the bar. That was his, the happy go lucky, optimistic minimalist man’s, celebration spot, neighborhood forum and where they met/saw each other most. His laidback lackadaisy lifestyle of the locals banes her, repressing the consumerist cannibalistic cult ritual of the urban center of Kobe. When bears, a murder and circumstance force them to work together what parts of their lives won't change forever?

The murder 

Our woman lead has been contacted by a cult and with an inviting offer she’s been informed she must sleep with one of the locals as a form of initiation to join which she agrees to. After meeting an off-duty cop who gives our lead’s same kinda growl, our protagonist is invited back to the officer’s house from the bar. 

Both unaware of the other’s affiliation, the officer is preparing to sacrifice our lead for the same cult. As the host pours drinks for them out of the room she confuses which glass she spiked. While doing that our lead sets up the camera to get the evidence. When the host returns she invites our lead to her private forest hot tub

Cop brings guns for bears, lets our lady lead hold and play with it for foreplay

Cop passes out and hits head on rock, lead drops gun and it fires hitting cop in the chest. Lead grabs the gun and runs back to the house before grabbing her stuff and running away

Man lead is part of the house cleaning crew for the off duty cop and finds the hidden camera with some of their intimate moments and links the “bear attack” to the woman lead but doesn’t say anything
