A trippy triptych trailing the trio of black women that traversed the trials and tribulations the triads that life presents. Toppling their totems of tyranny, tragedy and trauma the perspectives of three, in three eras is triple parted into a film that fractals in concept and story.
Cabriado
Puerto Rico 1378; A Taino princess is with her father on a hunting party when she wanders off at night into the moon’s rays. She comes across a sick Antillean ghost-faced bat Desmodus draculae hybrid and follows it to its cave. There a 7ft giant bat walks out and bites her arm. Her teeth break off in the princess’ arm as she drops her in the cave. Which causes her appearance to change as a combination of an aggressive mutated viral mange and vampirism all in the vampire’s saliva rapidly spread throughout her body due to adrenaline.
Ebony in the Tomb of the Jade Dragon
A time period equivalent to modern day gangs, the shogunate of Japan wage war which features deaths in the thousands as full blown soldiers fight in the search for street fame, credit, and to become Ō ten'nō gyangusutā, Imperial Gangster, the emperor of Japan aka the OOOG. Shogunate ideology evolves and becomes more defined with their target goals being expanded on by each member of them. With everyone having their own motivations, who will truly follow through and who will serve their own interest?
